Each hard gelatin capsule contains:
Rosuvastatin - 5/10/20 MG Clopidogrel - 75 MG

ROSCAD-CV is a drug which is used to lower the cholesterol level and triglycerides in the body. It also used to prevent cardiovascular diseases. It belongs to a group of drugs known as “statins”. It is helpful in reducing the need for medical procedures to open blocked vessels. It reduces the blood cholesterol level thus lowering the risk of narrowing of arteries. ROSCAD-CV is a drug which is used to lower the cholesterol level and fats like triglycerides. It also used to prevent cardiovascular diseases. It belongs to a group of drugs known as “statins”. It is helpful in reducing the need for medical procedures to open blocked vessels. . It reduces the blood cholesterol level thus reducing the risk of narrowing of arteries. This medication works better, if it is supplemented by a proper diet and regular exercise. Use of ROSCAD-CV must be as per directed by the doctor. It is available in oral tablet form. It is also important to take regular dose of ROSCAD-CV Tablet for best results. ROSCAD-CV should be stored at a temperature between 20 to 25 degree celcius. It should be kept away from heat, moisture and direct sunlight. Keep the drug away from the rech of the children and pets.

Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology
Roscad-CV Capsule improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:
 Reducing the formation of cholesterol.
 Inhibiting the adenosine diphosphate receptor on platelet cell membranes in order to inhibit platelet activation and aggregation.

Precautions & How to Use
Before using Roscad CV Capsule, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.
 Consult the doctor if you are suffering from electrolyte disorders or uncontrolled seizures
 Consult your doctor if you develop sudden muscle pain, fever or weakness
 Consult your doctor if you notice dark urine or yellowing of eyes or skin
 Diminished antiplatelet activity in patients with impaired CYP2C19 function
 Do not take antacids for at least 2 hours before and after taking this drug
 Increased risk of bleeding
 It may take longer than usual to stop bleeding
 Premature discontinuation is not recommended
 Premature discontinuation of this drug may increase the risk of cardiovascular events
 Report to doctor excessive bleeding, or blood in stool or urine

Drug Interactions
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Roscad CV Capsule may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Roscad CV Capsule may interact with the following drugs and products:
 Atazanavir
 Clopidogrel
 Gemfibrozil
 Lopinavir
 Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
 Omeprazole
 Ritonavir
 Warfarin

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to Roscad CV Capsule is a contraindication. In addition, Roscad CV Capsule should not be used if you have the following conditions:
• Active liver disease
• Active pathological bleeding
• Allergic reactions
• Hypersensitivity to this drug
• Intracranial hemorrhage
• Lactation
• Myopathy
• Peptic ulcer
• Pregnant or breastfeeding
• Severe renal impairment

SIDE-EFFECTS
The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Roscad-CV Capsule. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.
• Weakness
• Abdominal pain
• Muscle pain
• Diabetes
• Feeling sick
• Constipation
• Stomach pain
• Dizziness
• Skin reactions
• Increased in the amount of protein in the urine.
